SO worth it!

Bought one for personal use a year ago, and based on that I've since bought two more as gifts. I'm not even that fanatical about coffee (although I do enjoy a good cup), I just appreciate things that are really well deigned and really well made. It is simply a pleasure to use, compared to any other grinder I have tried.

Exquisite grinder

Finally bought one of my dream grinders. Looking for a sleek profile, that’s easy to use and maintain. The Gen 2 worked out the small kinks, and polished an excellent product. Only real changes would be tighter tolerances on plastic funnel of the catch cup; fins of the catch cup with steeper angle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great performance; aesthetically pleasing

I bought this based on the recommendation of a friend who researches everything and the recommendation was right on target. The grinder performs perfectly and precisely. It has enhanced my coffee experience exponentially and I look forward to my morning coffee ritual. The grinder is also aesthetically appealing; it doesn’t take a lot of counter space and fits well in our traditional kitchen just as well as it would any modern kitchen.

Great grinder, bad grounds cup

The grinder itself is great. I get a very consistent grind at medium fine (4), it only takes a few seconds, it's relatively quiet, and it shuts itself off automatically. I haven't had any problem with beans getting stuck in the chute, and there is shockingly little static mess. The grounds cup, on the other hand, is terrible. The fins inside trap the ground coffee so you have to tilt it crazily to get everything out, and the lid fits terribly--so badly that I stopped using it altogether.

This thing sucks. It’s so efficient at grinding my morning beans that I only end up having a few seconds of that satisfying sound of grinding and then it’s done. I want more!
