I love this grinder! It took me a little bit of getting used to as I had an Encore before (which broke after 2 months of use) and I tried to make the grinds from the Ode look like what they did from the Encore and that put me at WAY too course grind for a Chemex. Now that I am used to it, I can't live without it! It's quieter than any other grinder I have used and it's almost mess free! It also grinds very quickly.

Bought the Ode gen 2 after hours of research. I wanted to upgrade my OXO grinder as I felt it wasn’t giving me the best cup. I will say the Ode has been amazing in the 2 weeks I have had it. The grind is consistent, quiet, and most importantly it really enhances the profile of the beans.

Does everything it claims to do. Very easy workflow, and pleasingly quiet for a grinder. This is the only flat burr grinder I’ve ever used, and it’s taking me a while to dial in best grinds for each type of brew, as each setting has noticeable impact on flavor. It leaves me wondering how another burr set or slower speed grind would compare.
I would recommend this to a friend!
