so far so good! quiet, efficient machine with equal grinding that is very valued; very handsome but still quite large to be kept on the counter (we have limited counter space)
Stellar product, design, packaging, and all. Noticed one “blip” of louder noise than normal in first 2 weeks of use, guessing just a weird bean thing and will monitor if recures. Have already recommended this product to two friends!

Upgraded from the Gen.1 and this grinder is a total game changer. The actual ground coffee produced by the gen. 1 was exceptional. There were some complaints about the range of grind size, but I found that for drip coffee it was still fine (you were just operating around a 2). With the gen. 2 burrs you have more headspace, with ~6 being equivalent. This gives you more room to modify the grind to suit the roast. However, the most important changes to the Gen 2 are in how clean the grinder is! No longer do I suffer from a counter top covered in loose chaff, even if I forget to add a bit of water to the beans the grinder is very clean. Also the improved basket angle mean I'm not having to double check that all the beans made their way down and doing a second grind. With all the changes the Gen. 2 is now the ideal grinder for use with a moccamaster or other drip coffee (V60 aficionados will also be pleased as well aeropress users).
I've been thrilled with my recently purchased Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2. From the useful guide to grind settings on the lid to the grinder turning itself off once the grind is complete, there hasn't been a single feature that disappointed. The unit's design and the grind knocker ensure that my counter stays clean, and I've found that my morning pour-over is more tasteful than ever. Well done Fellow!
