This grinder made my coffee

This grinder made my coffee noticeably better on the very first brew. It feels great to use, there's almost no mess to speak of, and it looks beautiful on my counter.

A pleasure to use, no static or to the point of not noticing. No RDT, just dose beans and grind as it should be. I do prefer SSP MP burrs and did the alignment myself, kind of a pain, luckily there is a nice vid from fellow on what you'll need. (Sand paper? Who knew.) Would recommend it to someone interested in pour overs for sure. Burrs are a matter of preference, and I primarily drink light roast so I won't hold that against them.

I was hesitant on buying the original Ode and am so glad I waited. This grinder is so quiet and does not make a mess. Work flow is great and my coffee is tasting better than ever.

Elegant, simple, low retention and static, great range of grind sizes. Great flavor profile from the burrs. Overall, a massive upgrade from the original Ode.

Improvements on the Gen 1

The reduced static, larger hopper and catch bin, and removal of the beep noise are all improvements on the Gen 1, not to much mention the better burrs.

Better than Gen 1

I returned the Gen 1 Grinder because it stopped working and to be honest I was almost glad it broke because of the mess it made. Gen 2 does not make a mess. Whatever they did to stop the static works. I’ve only had it for a short time. I would give it 5 stars if I new it wouldn’t break down.
