Worth the wait!

I waited patiently for the rumored Gen 2 to be announced and released. I can say it’s worth the wait! It’s sleek and looks great on my countertop alongside my Chemex and Stagg kettle. It’s pretty quiet for a coffee grinder too! My Ninja blender is much louder in comparison.
Since I do pour over, the grind size is spot on at about a 7.5 for me and makes a smooth cup of coffee. The magnetic catch cup and grounds knocker work quite well to keep things tidy. I have a few grounds escape, but nothing the little brush can’t sweep up.
All in all, I’m very pleased with this coffee grinder and am considering swapping the Chemex to the Stagg pour over brewer to complete the set!

I have been making some extremely tasty pour-overs using the Ode Brew Gen 2. Minimal retention, almost no static, quiet, fast, and consistent from brew-to-brew.

Great grinder that should last me a lifetime

I love this grinder. The ionizer works great no mess, looks awesome, feels like a quality product. The fit and finish are great. The resulting ground coffee is consistent and makes a great cup with my Moccamaster. The fins in the cup are unusual and I don't really see the point, i just pour the ground coffee into the filter from the opposite side so i don't have to shake it around the fins. I guess it would helpful when trying to pour into a smaller basket but in most cases doesn't seem like it's useful.

Didn't take too long to break in. Instantly opened up a different level of pour overs and aeropress! The SSP burrs were definitely worth it

I am very happy with this grinder. It is used for my coffee only bar. That being drip, pour over, French press and Chemex. I find I can grind to meet the requirements of ach of these with this on grinder!
