Pretty to look at and does a great job!

We have been using this everyday since we got it last month and it hasn’t disappoint. Glad for the roomy container since we drink a lot of coffee at home. The anti-static technology is such a life saver! My counter stays clean as we grind- what a genius thing to have!

Awesome filter coffee grinder

I upgraded to the Ode Gen 2 from a decent but unremarkable conical burr grinder. The difference is far beyond my expectations. Build quality and enjoyability of use are both excellent. The lack of static, quiet grinding, low retention, and auto stop are particularly nice. As for the coffee, it is much more consistent, and the Ode can easily be dialed in to use with different filter brewers. I have enjoyed grinding with the Ode for the Stagg XF, Chemex Funnex, and AeroPress. Overall, an excellent grinder that meets all my filter coffee needs.

Improved my coffee more than I expected!

I replaced an old Orphan Espresso Lido E-T hand grinder with conical burrs with the Ode Gen 2 because of the good reviews, but I wasn't expecting the change to the flat Gen 2 Burrs from the old conical burrs in the Lido to make as big a difference in the flavor of my coffee as it has. I use an AeroPress with medium roast beans and the new burrs bring out flavors I had never noticed before - in a good way! It was an amazing improvement, and the quick and quiet grinding process and static elimination feature are just icing on the cake. I highly recommend this grinder!

The grinder is so heavy to move that for me it is a negative. Also the cost is high for what so far has been a temperamental machine for me to deal with.

Stops before all the beans are ground.

The Ode does does a fantastic job grinding beans. Unfortunately from time to time it will stop automatically before the all the beans are ground and sometime the beans get stuck in the hopper and don't grind.

Game changer!

This has changed our coffee game! Incredibly simple and easy to use, and grinds for a great pot of coffee! Sits beautifully on our counter. Is a fraction of the mess my old grinder made - the grounds are not all over when I finish using the machine. We grind just what we need and our coffee is delicious every time! Use the vacuum seal bean container and my mocamaster for the perfect cup!
