Grind Retention Dissapointing

Excessive grind retention (at least two grams), which is disappointing. Otherwise a fine grinder. Grind consistency is good. Quiet too.

Beautiful grind

Love this grinder, the settings inside the lid, the measuring portions in the lid. It’s not too noisy and aesthetically pleasing. Plus the grind is perfection.
Not so great: it’s pretty big, and it is messy. Every time I pull the cup out, even if I tap the side of the machine, grinds still come out after the fact and go everywhere.

No more static mess!!

I’m genuinely impressed with this grinder. The design is gorgeous, the build feels solid, and it runs way quieter than any grinder I’ve owned. The grind consistency is excellent and my coffee tastes noticeably better. The biggest surprise has been how clean it is to use — the static mess that used to drive me crazy is basically gone. This thing has totally upgraded my morning routine.

Finally upgraded my grinder and really pleased with the Ode Gen 2. It's much quieter than my old grinder and so simple to use with the auto-off function. One slight annoyance visually: the line that is on the grinder dial to point to the scale around it doesn't perfectly line up with the markings around the edge. It's slightly off to the right.

Beautiful but poor performance

It is not quiet, spreads coffee grinds all over the counter top, and does an uneven grind. Looks beautiful performs terribly, highly disappointing for given the price point. I suggest you take your money elsewhere.

I’ve had the grinder for roughly 4 weeks and it’s jammed three times and taken it apart to fix. I had an Oxo grinder for close to 10 years. It never jammed once. Ridiculous for the price. Fellow has hoodwinked everyone. I’d return it if I could. I don’t recommend buying one,
