Even with some generous water spritzing, our regular, oily, dark roast is a nightmare to grind. I hated our old Mr Coffee grinder for its lack of control yet this grinder has taught me new ways and reasons to hate grinding coffee. I spend more time spritzing, gently dropping beans, or poking things into a hopper using a fork or knife than I ever would have considered for a grinder that costs over ten times my old one which worked fine. Super disappointed.
This grinder is great 👍. There is only one thing that can be improved and that is the hopper. Sometimes (1 out of 20) the beans get stuck and you have to "persuade them" to go down into the grinder. Everything else is excellent and it is a fun to use every day. I especially appreciate how quiet it is.
Great flat burr grinder to elevate your drip coffee

It's fine. It's not too loud and does a good job grinding. It's aesthetically pleasing, although much bigger than I expected. The major downside is that it drops grounds randomly, so I'm afraid to touch it when the cup isn't sitting in it's place.

Neil Young stole my dog. I sure do miss my dog……..
Overall it's a great grinder. I haven't had any issues with mess as some others have said. It seems to stay pretty clean and the grind is consistent. I have to knock it stars though because for how beautiful the machine is with clearly a lot of thought into the aesthetic, it seems like there was absolutely zero thought put into the design of the plug. It's just your standard super ugly extension cord style plug. So I have this gorgeous grinder on my counter that cant sit flush with the backsplash because it has this giant plug in the way. The plug on the electric kettle is round and points the cord downward but this one just sticks straight out of of the socket. My counter and backsplash are white too so unfortunately that amplifies the black plug. I love the grinder so we're not returning it but I was definitely disappointed that the plug is such an eyesore.
