Not worth the price. Poor functionality, jams regularly

Do not purchase if you want a functional and quality coffee grinder. For the amount of money this thing was it does not function like a quality piece of machinery. Looks great but the number one complaint is that it is poorly engineered so it jams regularly and requires regular disassembly to fix. Additionally it makes giant mess on your countertop because the grinds canister opening is too small and the output scatters grinds instead of precisely dropping them into the canister. I've purchased a handheld vacuum just to deal with the constant mess.

This is the worst thing I've ever spend $ on. I was so excited to get this flat burr grinder to replace our trusty bodum conical burr grinder but it is a literal piece of junk. It gets clogged way too often, almost every day. Tapping the sides does nothing to dislodge the beans so we have to remove the burrs constantly and clean it out which is not a very fun process and certainly isn't 'upping our coffee game'. Don't buy this piece of junk! Glad I didn't purchase anything else from this company.
Overall, the product just seemed weak. Calibrating for cold brew and it constantly jammed

Makes a mess.

Ground coffee ends up everywhere. You pull the magnetic catch cup out and grounds still fall out of the burr section.

Live, Love, Ode gen 2!

I had the gen 1 which I loved., this gen 2 with the SSP MP Burrs is truly a masterpiece, a love affair,. a hot, steamy exotic, mad passionate, torrid affair, only without the bitter aftertaste! The degree to which this grinds is extraordinary. The anti static technology is flawless which, if I may say so, is an enormous improvement over the gen 1. I’m able to achieve degrees of smoothness in my pour over recipes that is just indescribable!
If I was forced to rid my life of everything that didn’t give me great joy, then you’d find me standing under an overpass, lovingly clutching my two cats & my Fellow Ode gen 2 grinder!
its location has not been determined, it is meant as a replacement as it was the only option available. I would have preferred a refund as the Opus fell apart, the burr cradle blew out of the interior structure, but could not we awarded a refund. As the replacement opus was not an option for me, upgrading was the only solution. The package was picked up Jan 16, as of today Feb 2, there is no information as to the whereabouts of the package, as tracking has remained unchanged since January 22, 2024.
