The kettle is beautiful. I really find the HOLD temperature function useful. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I’m glad that I chose to treat myself.

I like to drink hot water with lemon throughout the day to stay warm in my cold office. I keep the kettle on my desk and use it multiple times a day. It is beautifully designed and more importantly it heats quickly and precisely to my desired temperature. Currently, it is my favorite thing.

Not worth the price.

For as pricey as this kettle is, I’d expect the quality control to be quite a bit better. Our original EKG was replaced due to an issue that caused the water to boil over before the thermostat reached the set temperature. The lid also leaked profusely from beneath the knob, and the new kettle’s lid is quite a bit looser than the first one we purchased, which causes it to rattle about incessantly, at temperatures above 210°. There is also an issue with the pour at higher temperatures which causes the stream to exit the spout erratically.
