Highly recommended pour over kettle

I have used the Bonavita variable temperature control kettle for years and was satisfied with it, but I finally decided to splurge on the Fellow Stagg EKG. I was blown away at how much easier it is to pour with this kettle. It seems to heat the water more quickly as well. Ergonomically, the weight feels great in the hand. I can’t say enough good things about it. I’m so glad that I got it.

Cheap Feel

It looks beautiful, but we are a little disappointed in the overall build quality. This kettle feels very cheaply made, especially the base and knob which is plastic. The knob is loose and doesn’t function 1/2 the time. We have to press it several times for the kettle to actually turn off or on. I have serious doubts about how long this will last.
The style was nailed but unfortunately, it is not worth the very high price tag.

Great heat up time, aesthetically pleasing on the coffee counter and holds temperature to the degree. Flow rate out of the sprout is one of the best for pour over coffee brewing.
