Works great, but smells a little like plastic as it heats. It’s the best operating pour-over kettle, but the VOCs don’t seem to go away.

The electric cord is too short if using it over a kitchen island since the outlet is below the counter top.

Happy with the purchase, so we don’t have to listen to a whistling teapot, and it keeps its temperature. The only con is that the pouring spout is too small, and it takes a bit of time to fill a teacup or mug.
