This is a great kettle. If you are choosing between this and the pro, it might be worth buying the pro because this one takes about 2 minutes or more (an eternity?) to heat up to 100C. (user error?) The built in timer is useful if your scale does not have a timer. It also holds a significant amount of water compared to other kettles.

it is weird buying a electronic not from china and having to worry about it setting the house on fire. this lovely kettle has increase my coffee quality and now that i can control temps instead of waiting for water to bubble in the microwave tea has become drinkable and not bad tasting plantwater.
