Beautiful kettle

We ordered the matte black with walnut handle and it is absolutely stunning. It's been in daily use for the past several weeks and we have noticed that the finish is chipping a little around the top of the kettle and the very edge of the lid. Nothing that will keep it from functioning, but it does make me wonder how long it will remain beautiful. The temperature tends to hold within a degree of the set time, sometimes a little low, other times a little high, but overall, it's usually spot on. The pour is slow, as this is designed for a pour over coffee. I use it for tea and it takes about 30 seconds to fill up my cup. As such, the water can cool a little in that process, so I find it helpful to either pre-warm the cup, or set the temp just slightly higher.

If you’re in position I was, and you are pondering buying this, asking “is this really going to help my coffee be better?” It will. Just do it. I have absolutely no regrets from buying the Stagg, and will use it probably every day for years to come. It does everything you need it to, and nothing you don’t. It gets out of the way so that you can focus on brewing better coffee, and that’s what I love about it the most. Thank you, Fellow, for making such a great product.

This is the third and final electric kettle brand that I will purchase. It is fast and easy to use. I like to use it to heat my Matcha tea up at 175 degrees or coffee at 195 degrees. I wouldn't mind if it was slightly bigger, but since its so fast, it doesn't matter much. My last two electric kettles broke after a few years. I hope this one lasts longer.
