Beautiful. High-performance. And sadly, when heated, the plastic base and bottom of the kettle give off a toxic chemical odor we can smell across the room. Fellow said it should go away after a few weeks. They wouldn’t tell us if the plastic is free if the most dangerous chemicals like BPA. Sending it back.

I am very happy with this kettle, not only does it look amazing on the counter it works extremely well. The “Hold” feature is very useful and the kettle holds the right amount for that pot of drip coffee that we love.
