I bought this kettle on 11/1/22, and it has already stopped working properly; on many occasions it does work at all. For the price, I did expect the Stagg Kettle to function for years and years not for just a few mere months. Do not buy.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I LOVE my new electric kettle. My original idea was to get a mild upgrade. However a wise friend advised me that investing in quality things that are also beautiful add a bit more joy in every day. Today, making my morning tea and coffee is indeed more joyful! The sleek black matte color, the balance in the kettle, the feel of the handle, the control=wonderful. <3 Thank you!

I am writing this review with a deep sense of frustration and disappointment, as my Stagg EKG Electric Kettle by Fellow has let me down in a major way. After just six months of usage, the kettle cap has broken, leaving me with a useless piece of kitchen equipment.
When I first purchased the Stagg EKG Electric Kettle, I was drawn in by its sleek design and promises of durability and functionality. The price was on the higher side, but I was willing to invest in a high-quality product that would make my daily tea and coffee rituals more enjoyable. However, that investment has turned out to be a colossal waste.
The kettle cap is a crucial component of any electric kettle, and one would expect it to withstand regular use for years, not months. The fact that it broke within six months is not only infuriating but also raises serious concerns about the overall build quality of this product. It's not as if I was using the kettle roughly or abusing it in any way. I followed all the care instructions meticulously.
Apart from the kettle cap issue, I've also noticed other minor annoyances with the Stagg EKG Electric Kettle. The temperature control dial is not as precise as advertised, and sometimes it takes longer than expected to reach the desired temperature. Additionally, the handle, while aesthetically pleasing, is not the most comfortable to grip, especially when the kettle is full.
Given the premium price point of this kettle, I expected a level of quality and durability that simply hasn't been delivered. It's incredibly frustrating to spend a significant amount of money on a product that fails to meet even the most basic expectations. Disappointed by the lack of features in the pro version vs regular. The empty kettle warning doesn't appear consistently, you can't really do anything with the wifi connection apart from update the firmware (was hoping you could start boiling the kettle via the app).
The kettle itself is great though, maintains the temperature accurately and heats it up very quickly.

Pretty good electric kettle but the “functionality” leaves a bit to be desired. As many have pointed out, the mobile app to program your kettle and do any presets and etc is horrendous. It will not connect to the kettle. EVER.
For the functionality to boil to a precise temp and then keep it steady, it’s very good. The chime is so quiet and never repeats, even when on highest volume.
The design is sleek, but I feel like that’s what you’re paying for, not necessarily function.

Display stops working

I've used this most days since I purchased it a little over 2 years ago. Now, the display has stopped working which means I have no idea what temp the water is. This is a big deal because the selling point for me was being able to control the temp for various teas.
