this was a replacement for a stagg kettle that I "lost" while moving. it's great, really excels at pour over coffee. It complements my Ode grinder and there's really nothing else to say but "awesome"!

This is the perfect kettle! I’ve wanted this kettle for such a a long time. I wasn’t sure if I wanted the stovetop or the electric kettle, so I waited. And I really wish I hadn’t, because within one use this kettle has engrained itself into our daily coffee making routine.
I’m really not sure how we ever waited so long for water to boil. I’m so happy with our kettle, and I can’t wait to purchase more Fellow products.

This was sent to replace a defective Fellow product and unfortunately has the exact same issues as the first. It won't heat above 202 degrees, no matter how high the temperature is set or how long I leave it heating, it boils over even when water is inches below the max fill line, and the lid leaks when pouring, even at a gentle angle. These are all things I could deal with at a lower price point, but for what this cost, I am very disappointed and wish I had kept my cheap kettle. It does look nice on the counter!

The Stagg EKG kettle I purchased is fantastic. The time it takes to heat to boiling is blisteringly fast, it reaches the preset temperature without overshooting (which is a great feature), and the control of the pour flow is really excellent when making pour-overs. I have seen some reviews saying that the flow is too slow for tea or other applications other than pour-overs, and while I will say that it's slower than a traditional electric kettle, the speed has never bothered me. I would recommend this to any and everyone for its functionality alone, and it looks great on my countertop!
