Great kettle, coating flakes

The kettle functions well, the spout is very nice, it gives a good pour. There has Not so far after a little over a year of use been any kind of malfunction with the electronics. However, inside a year of daily use (heating water 1-3 times per day, sitting on the counter), the powder coating is flaking off of the green one. I don't know if this is a common issue or specific to this color, but I would hope for a bit better attention to detail in a premium presenting product when the coating on my water bottle holds up for the most part on falls to rocks and pavement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my new kettle. It looks sleek and stylish on the counter and doesn’t take up too much room. I really like that it heats so hot, has the keep warm feature and boils so fast and it quiet. Highly recommend this kettle, we use it multiple times a day.

The best kettle just keeps getting better

This is my second Stagg, The original - purchased through the kickstarter program some seven years ago - is still in good working condition, but I really like the upgrades of the Pro model, and the smoke green and maple is seriously stylin' and profilin' and so I have now have two kettles. The only glitch is that I cannot get the WiFi feature to work. I don't know how important the firmware upgrades will be, but this is only a minor nuisance.

We are extremely pleased with this kettle! Warms up at lightning speed and we no longer need to think about the water overheating on the stove. Granted we are not obsessed with the temperature being super accurate and have not tested the actual water temp relative to whats on the screen. More than excellent for us!
Really looking forward to trying out the kettle in bottle making for our new baby too.

I bought a knock-off version of this kettle, which lasted six months, as did the replacement I was sent. I decided to level up and buy the Stagg, and it was worth it. The fit and finish are lovely, and the functionality is great. I have every hope this will last for years and years versus months.
