Very stylish great features 4 star due to me the long spout pours a little slowly. I could have gotten one with the faster pour but it wouldn’t look as cool as this one

After my last gooseneck kettle finally died I decided to splurge. The Fellow is unequivocally worse at actually being a kettle than much cheaper options. It boils more slowly. The chime is too quiet so you can’t hear it from the other room, yet it goes off every time it reaches temperature so it chimes every time you do a pour and place it back on the base. The materials on the studio version don’t feel nearly as premium as they should. The metal dial and glass top both feel like plastic and far cheaper than the price tag suggests. Even the pouring spout doesn’t work well. It puts fine until unless you go slightly too steep an angle (coincidentally the exact angle the handle suggests you pour at) — then the flow completely breaks and it spatters hot water everywhere, splashing you coffee out of your V60 and staining your work shirt. It’s ok overall, and obviously looks nice from afar. But for this price I expected all of these details to be done right. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
