New Design in Attractive Colors

I purchased a higher-end Stagg EKG Electric kettle because I knew the base is closed and therefore hopefully it should prevent water seepage. My previous kettle - after a mere 5 months of usage - was most likely destroyed by water seepage into the base. I'm a fan of the hazy blue shade and its maple handle (note: recommended treatment of mineral oil to the handle once a month). My daughter has had this kettle in black for at least 5 years so I felt confident in this purchase. The spout is very attractive although it would probably leak from the lid if you tried to empty all the water out. I'm very much hoping this kettle lasts for many years!

Besides its excellent performance and features, thank you Fellow, for enabling my Lord of the Rings musings to surface every time I think of an excuse to use my new kettle.
