Beautiful and Useful

Love this kettle! So far it’s been working great. No complaints yet. It heats up pretty fast and pretty easy to understand. I’ve read lots of reviews how people hate how slow it pours for other things like tea. But honestly I’ve only been making matcha and teas (no pour overs yet) and I don’t think it’s slow at all. I can see it could be a little slow if you’re trying to make a huge pot of hot water. But if you plan on doing pour overs like me, I’d recommend the gooseneck over the other kettles anyways.

My newest obsession!

Absolutely adore this Kettle! One of my newest favorite obsessions. I'm really hoping it lasts me a loooong time. The look is modern and unique. The quality is unmatched. And the efficiency and the temperature control is priceless. I love the kettle, I love the color, and I'm excited to have it for a while!!!

Great kettle, but only for pourover

Kettle is very good for pourover, it is a pleasure brewing V60, with a well controlled pour.
Unfortunately at higher flowrates, especially when the kettle is full flow becomes uneven and spatters everywhere, annoying while making tea.

A pleasure to use

I was hesitant to buy, but I'm really happy with my purchase. I have the studio version in matte black with walnut and it's like a work of art. Aside from that, a few of the features that I love are the ability to set my altitude and the guide mode which lets me use my aero press, pour over, and brew my daughter's tea without a reference chart :D

Excellent but for a sminor defect

This was my last upgrade to my whole coffee/tea station. It looks and works beautifully. I would give it 5 stars but there was a minor defect on the kettle lid. It seems there's a thin coating on the wooden nob, presumably to help prevent moisture damage from the steam vent. Anyway, that plastic coating was rough and peeling in spots.

A significant upgrade from the Bonavita: larger opening, much more comfortable handle, much better control when pouring, and the black matte finish.

Pro Studio Edition Black/Walnut: As good it as it looks, performance is even better

Brand new, but after years with a Hario classic, the bottom had rusted out of it. Hesitant to spend the big bucks for this but got an EKG Pro Studio edition, black with walnut (classy!), and BAM, wow. Ease of use is incredibly fast and flexible AND most importantly: the flow out of this kettle gooseneck is fantastic, well controlled, smooth and makes for a creamy pourover. Nicely
