It worked well for me from the very beginning. The hot water starts heating immediately and takes very little time to complete.

This is my 2nd kettle of this type. I use it 3 - 4 times a day to make loose organic black,green or herbal tea. I was going to purchase one of the other kettle styles with a short pour spout but this pink/maple/ goose-necked spout one was just too cute to pass up. Love being able to set the water temp just so.... Am hoping to get 4 or 5 years' use out of this one as well.

I love the temperature control with hold which is perfect for many teas as well as pour over coffee. It’s a very functional and pleasing design.
