I love the design of the kettle, it’s a pleasure to use and it’s gorgeous. But after returning it twice for a malfunctioning heating element, I’m resigned to the fact that they either got a bad batch from the manufacturer or they are just poorly manufactured. I have to press the on and off button multiple times every time I use it, and it frequently doesn’t seem to heat up to the temperature it says it is. Some mornings my coffee is hot.. some mornings my coffee is not very hot, in other words. This was an expensive purchase for me, so I’ve been disappointed with it. I had an ugly cheapo Melitta kettle that heated water like a champ.. I wish I’d kept it.

Sleek and quiet

After my old electric kettle broke, I decided to upgrade with the Stagg EKG. I can't believe how quiet it is, even when it is at a full boil. No beeping, either, which I really appreciate. The look of it is so sleek, too, and I have gotten several compliments from guests. Very happy with my purchase!

Beautiful design, functionally works very well. Happy with my purchase. Gave 4 stars because switch is sometimes flakey and pouring is not as sensitive/controlled as other kettles I have used.

The kettle is beautiful and we love it. The only problem is that the flow rate is super super slow. If you want to use the kettle for anything aside from making coffee the flow rate is just too slow.

Nifty little kettle

Well made, functions as described, quite small. I mostly use for making tea, and like the thin spout and slow rate at which the water comes out. Very helpful to be able to set temp and hold at desired temp, as different teas require different brewing temp. Still feel it is pricey for what it is.

Even if you fill only to the fill line, it will overflow, so its hard to know exactly how much you can fill it.

I think this is a great kettle with a great aesthetic. The matte finish is beautiful. It has a refined minimalist footprint and is capable of doing everything I would want a kettle to do. That being said, I think that it is slightly overpriced.
