Precision that transforms tea

I absolutely love my Stagg EKG kettle from Fellow. The precise temperature control has completely changed how my tea tastes—being able to dial in exact temps instead of guessing makes a real, noticeable difference in clarity and aroma.
The thin gooseneck spout is another standout. It gives me excellent control over the pour, which makes brewing feel calm and intentional rather than rushed or sloppy. I didn’t realize how much that mattered until I had it.
And honestly, it’s just gorgeous. Minimal, solid, and beautifully designed—it looks great sitting out on the counter and feels like a pleasure to use every day.
If you care about precision, control, and aesthetics (especially for tea), this kettle is a total upgrade.

Takes my Coffee Pour Overs to the Next Level and Simplifies My Life!!

This Stagg EKG Pro Studio Edition does just what I need it to do!! As a home coffee enthusiast, I have worked diligently to make the perfect cup of coffee. In doing that, you need great beans, great equipment, control over various variables, and a bit of know-how. My list of equipment includes the Hario V60 plastic dripper, The Acaia Pearl scale, the Fellows Ode 2 grinder, and now the Stagg EKG Pro Studio Kettle. I got this kettle because I began to experiment with temperature in my brews only to discover that I had trouble making the temperature consistent over the course of the brew. I also discovered that it is a lot of work each morning to focus on temperature as a variable with the equipment that I had. Therefore, I got the Stagg.
My hot take on this device is this... it is expensive for what it is. It seems well built and has made making next level pour overs easy and seamless. If that is what you are looking for, then get this kettle. I have not tried other kettles with temperature control. This does the job.
So, here are more of my thoughts on the Stagg EKG Pro Studio Edition...
Pros - It does what it is supposed to do
- It is pretty to look at even if I did not get the wood handles. The platform of the Studio Pro is shiny and looks high quality and elegant.
- It dials in temperature perfectly with NO HASSLE so that I can focus on making a great cup of coffee. It also keep the coffee warm without me having to pay attention to it!!
- The scheduler allows me to have hot water as soon as I wake up in the morning!! I love that!!
- The pour spout works really well for pour overs.
- Being able to set the amount of time that the water stays at temp is lovely.

Cons - These are more annoyances than a reason to not buy.
- The flow restricter on the goose neck is such that if I fall behind in a brew that it is hard to catch up. I still really like it.
- I do not like the sound of the chime and choose not to use it.
- The menu is not as intuitive as I would have expected and took a minute to get used to.
- My kettle was up to date from an updating perspective. I have no idea what they could do to the firmware to make this better.
- This is expensive - that said, if you are paying for 3rd wave coffee beans, then you want equipment to bring out their best.
- I have no idea about the longevity of this product as I just got it.

Love my new kettle. It is used to brew hot water for my enormous tea collection. Temperature settings are spot on and it is great for the different teas that depend on different water temps. Go get one for yourself!

my first gooseneck

This is my first gooseneck kettle - very fancy! I like that it gives you a read out of the water temperature, and warns you if you have forgotten to add water. Very helpful. I live at ~5000 ft, so the altitude setting was a especially appealing. The chime is pretty quiet - even at max volume, I'm unlikely to hear it in another room.

This kettle's design is fantastic. I have tried maybe 9 different kettles , this is the best. From water pouring to control of handle, ergono shape of of, weight size capacity & material( at least for about a week that i have been using it 5 times a day) the tempreture is excellent. The digital design is fantastic , no extra beeps or crazy sounds, scheduling is perfect & works very well. Higgly recommend it.
If you must have 1 device in your kitchen to boil water, this is minimal in shape & look but excellent in performance.

Beautiful design with great performance. Heats water quickly to the precise chosen temperature. I was looking for an electric kettle that had no plastic or lead that could leach into the water - this one was it. Very pleased with this product!

I have had my Fellow Electric Kettle for several years now. I got it as a Gift, and don''t know how I managed without it. I bought one for my daughter, She was visiting , loved using it and wanted one ASAP !!
