Fantastic kettle with one minor flaw

This is a fantastic kettle and near perfect. It heats fast, pours at a perfect rate, and looks awesome. My only issue is that sometimes the on/off button does not work. Not sure if all kettles have this issue by design or just mine. Sometimes I need to click 3-4 times and I think it happens when I don’t click in the dead center. I wasn’t clicking on the edge either, just off-center. Anyway, I’ve been retraining myself to click right in the center and I get far fewer issues.

I’m happy with the functionality

I’m happy with the functionality of the item. It performs well. I wish that it didn’t have as much plastic as it does. The bottom side seems to be the only necessary place for the plastic. Shouldn’t be an extra cost at this price to not have plastic. At the very least it could all be stainless steel.

Great kettle except for switch.

The kettle's design enables one to comfortably produce a slow methodical pour over. I also use the kettle for tea. It is definitely a very efficient kitchen tool and has allowed me to put all the old coffee making tools into storage thus freeing up counter space. I love this kettle but I have found the on/off/temp control switch to be very temperamental requiring me to push it multiple times to turn the kettle on or off.

Base is plastic and feels

Base is plastic and feels a bit cheap. The power button is finicky and needs to be pressed a few times before turning on or off.
Other than that, the kettle itself is wonderful and beautiful. The water heats up super fast.

Neat design

Love the chic-ness. Wish it were a bit bigger and that the spout were larger (as a tea drinker I care less about proper flow for coffee drips.) Sometimes a bit glitchy and off by like a degree or so (PID loop needs some tuning?). I would say a small chime, or audible notification, that the set temp has been reached would be the cherry on top (because sometimes I forget).
