Nice-looking but leaky

I like the heating function, easy-to-use dial, and hold temp feature. But when filled to the fill line, water tends to leak out of the top when pouring. I am primarily a French Press user so I'm pouring all of the water at once, and it is probably more ideal for a primarily pour-over drinker.

Well, it's beautiful to look at, I will give you that. Water dribbles out of the holes in the lid and leaves a white mineral residue. The max line should go all the way around the inside. I can never see it without rotating the kettle to an ugly position, which I then have to reverse once the filling is accomplished. That sounds absurd, but the kettle was $$$ so I was expecting near perfection. If you don't mind the fill line, boiling water will erupt from the steam holes and I don't recommend testing that. There is very little wiggle room with the max fill line. The wooden handle is gorgeous and you should definitely get it. I wish it had been available on the Bluetooth kettle, then I would've ordered that one. There is a little ring of metal where the handle connects to the kettle and that gets quite hot. I don't understand why that couldn't be made from wood, but ok. This kettle is a bit pricey and the design is lovely. It has flaws, and if the price is a stretch for you, just emotionally prepare yourself for some irritation. Hopefully, it will be tempered by the warm feeling you get from admiring its beauty.

This electric tea kettle is very loud. There are cheaper options available that a quiet. It does look nice though.

We LOVE our new kettle! We’ve been using it every day (multiple times a day) for about a month now, and have ZERO complaints. It’s so easy to use, looks sooo good, and makes the coffee making time that much better :u1F90C: Thanks Fellow!!
