LOVE the sesame and oak color way!! Bonus: would be BOMB if they included a little packet of mineral oil for the wood pieces at set up. Not a huge deal though. Very nice kettle!

My Trophy Kettle

It's accurate and reliable and looks great. The bells and whistles aren't really necessary and the base is much lighter than the old model. It moves around when you pick up the kettle and when you put it back. I find that annoying. All in all, over priced.

My previous kettle (different brand) quit after serving me well. I have a Fellow grinder so decided to purchase the Stagg EKG pro as a replacement. It has not disappointed! The control during a pour is great and so much better than my old kettle. And it looks great.
If I had one wish it would be a slightly bigger capacity. Not wishing for something big, but an additional 150 to 250 ml would be helpful at times.

Works great. Don’t know if it’s advisable to leave water in it all the time …or not. Even a few days later, I still faintly smell an “electrical smell”. I don’t get the sense anything is burning other than maybe some residual manufacturing residue.
I was surprised that the initial cleaning is nothing more than heating water to a boil…holding at boil for 1 minute.
It’s taking a little getting used to if you’re shooting for a particular pour rate. This thing can pour very softly…probably not a term used for a pour-over kettle.
Functionally, I can’t imagine anything else I’d want from a kettle.

The new kettle is way worse in build quality and finish than the older non-pro Stagg EKG kettle I had. The wood is covered with peeling plastic and the kettle is wobbly on the base. I tried contacting Fellow 5 days ago to determine if this is a manufacturing defect but I have not yet heard back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well, it impressed my girlfriend, which is the most important thing.
It was packaged well, simple to use, and quite attractive. Perfect for pour overs. I cannot offer information on durability at this time.

I bought this as a gift to myself for my birthday. I did own a gooseneck kettle already, but it was very cheap and loud. And it took FOREVER to heat up. I am so glad I upgraded - this kettle looks amazing and performs even better. I love that it even takes into account my elevation (I live close to 5,000 ft above sealevel). A truly amazing product.
