Water is hot

I am surprised and dismayed that there is no baffle for the opening in the top. I have spilt hot water on my hands, which is not fun. Every previously owned kettle has some baffle on the top opening. I hope to get something 3d printed and placed over the stupid non baffled opening. Otherwise heats fast, easy to setup. Can you offer a top for sleepy klutz's that don't like scalding their hand?

First time Fellow user. Bought this for my wife and I for our coffee and tea journey, love the look and functionality of the kettle. I have yet to make a pour over, that will all go down this weekend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this kettle - never happier

After many years and many, many, pots every day, our original Fellow/Stagg just plain wore out. This new model is just as functional as the old and the new features including the chime and clock are appreciated. We loved our first one and we expect years of pleasurable use from the new model. The only add I would make to a future version would be a 4 minute timer for French Press. We love this kettle!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It replaces a conventional electric kettle that failed. Having precise control of the water temperature has improved my coffee a lot more than expected, and the "Hold" function has streamlined my mornings. After filling the Stagg with water last thing at night, I can turn it on and wander around doing morning chores until I remember that the water must be ready. It will still be at the right temperature when it's time for my second cup. Not my first Fellow product, and it certainly won't be my last.
