Water shouldn't short circuit a kettle to boil water. If water can get into the stand the kettle full of water heats up on... how is this good design?

This is a super nice kettle and idk if it’s quite worth the price point. I find the operating system to be a bit un advanced given how expensive it is

Kettle leaks from the top when trying to pour. It is very slow if you are using for other than pour over. Heard up quickly. Easy to use.

Ordered this kettle along with an Opus grinder and when the equipment works, it’s great. However, in the first couple of grinds with the opus grinder, it would stay clogged and not grind the coffee. Fellow sent me a replacement for the grinder and it’s great. Two weeks later and now the digital screen on my kettle has gone out. Waiting for a response from fellow but so far I’m extremely disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Aesthetically, this is the prettiest kettle in the market. It works just fine. Everything is as expected and the build quality is great. Some might say it is not worth spending the price on a kettle, if you can spare the money you won’t be disappointed. I just wonder if the “schedule mode” works regardless of having water in the kettle. I haven’t used it because I fear forgetting to add water one morning and wake up to a burnt kettle one morning im not planning on using the schedule mode.
