I toyed with buying this kettle for a while because I had a fully functional kettle in perfect working order but it was, well, functional looking. Then came the Stagg and it was so beautiful that I finally gave in to a change. Looking at this object each morning on my kitchen counter makes my heart happy. The painfully slow pour that is required to avoid drips makes my heart hurt. It is an age-old battle between form and function! Form wins in this case.

It’s everything I expected. One part of me would like to have a small LED light that indicates on and at temperature, but another part of me likes the elegant simple design.

My kettle works excellent and and looks amazing. I only have to critiques. 1 would be size. I wish I could buy this same thing in a 1L size. Second is the lid. It is inset roughly 1/2". If a little water bubbles out of the steam holes, it gets trapped in the bowl of the lid and cannot escape. A better design would be to make the lid flat on top or even rounded up slightly. That being said, neither of these things would stop me from buying it again. Thanks for a good product!
