The new kettle is way worse in build quality and finish than the older non-pro Stagg EKG kettle I had. The wood is covered with peeling plastic and the kettle is wobbly on the base. I tried contacting Fellow 5 days ago to determine if this is a manufacturing defect but I have not yet heard back.

Spills and Burns hand often. The outer steam vent should be off-center from the interior to prevent this. This last burn was awful. Boiling hot water splashes out of the vent way too easily. Bad design...

Great kettle but analog clock feature is problematic

This electric kettle does everything it's supposed to do, and does it well. I really like the performance, design, and features. The ability to set temperature by the individual degree is valuable to me. I also like how fast it heats up, and I like the small rubber feet that enable me to set the kettle directly on on the counter.
One feature that could use some tweaking is the analog clock. The hour hand doesn't move at all(!) until the next hour is reached. For example, a time like 5:55 looks like 4:55 because the hour hand is still on the 5. Then when it turns to 6:00 the hour hand moves to the 6. Perhaps whoever designed this feature doesn't know how an analog clock works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broken Cap - Extremely Disappointed

I am writing this review with a deep sense of frustration and disappointment, as my Stagg EKG Electric Kettle by Fellow has let me down in a major way. After just six months of usage, the kettle cap has broken, leaving me with a useless piece of kitchen equipment.
When I first purchased the Stagg EKG Electric Kettle, I was drawn in by its sleek design and promises of durability and functionality. The price was on the higher side, but I was willing to invest in a high-quality product that would make my daily tea and coffee rituals more enjoyable. However, that investment has turned out to be a colossal waste.
The kettle cap is a crucial component of any electric kettle, and one would expect it to withstand regular use for years, not months. The fact that it broke within six months is not only infuriating but also raises serious concerns about the overall build quality of this product. It's not as if I was using the kettle roughly or abusing it in any way. I followed all the care instructions meticulously.
Apart from the kettle cap issue, I've also noticed other minor annoyances with the Stagg EKG Electric Kettle. The temperature control dial is not as precise as advertised, and sometimes it takes longer than expected to reach the desired temperature. Additionally, the handle, while aesthetically pleasing, is not the most comfortable to grip, especially when the kettle is full.
Given the premium price point of this kettle, I expected a level of quality and durability that simply hasn't been delivered. It's incredibly frustrating to spend a significant amount of money on a product that fails to meet even the most basic expectations. The broken kettle cap has not only disrupted my daily routine but also left me wondering about the longevity of other components.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Stagg EKG Electric Kettle by Fellow based on my experience. While it may look great on your countertop, it falls far short in terms of durability and overall value for money. My anger and disappointment with this purchase are palpable, and I hope my review serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering this kettle. Save your money and invest in a more reliable and trustworthy electric kettle brand.

Upgrade from Original Stagg EKG (Very Satisfied)

I had the Stagg EKG, and upgraded to the Stagg EKG Pro Studio because my mom was looking for an electric kettle. It certainly is an upgrade, very nice attention to detail and feels like a more sturdy iteration on the original. I have been using it for a little over a week now and it has been great!
The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because, while the guided mode is really nice, I would have liked to see the option to add a custom preset to the list, or a different menu item to have presets to pick from. This is very minor but for the price would be a nice touch! I would be very happy if this was included in a future software update?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stunning Kettle

First off, this kettle is beautiful. It's like a sculpture on our counter, and I am totally in love with it. The construction is heavy and feels like its built to last. I love that I can fully customize my water temperature, whether I'm using it for a green tea, a black tea, or a pour-over, and that it can hold that temperature for 30 minutes automatically (because yes, I do drink multiple cups of tea a day!). Thank you!
