Very good kettle. Amazing balance, continued pouring, heats quite fast. Elegant design.
Missing one star because: It's bit pricy against competitors. The rotating knob on the base feels rather "cheap" than luxury hardware.

Love the function and form of this lovely product. Super happy. I gave it a 4 star due to the start switch. I often have to hit the start button 2-4 times before it starts heating. Not always but it makes me worry that it will eventually fail. Otherwise love this kettle.

Solid but fincky

The spout is amazing for pourovers, I get complete control and flat coffee beds for nearly every cup. The counter weighted handle is comfortable to hold on while pouring, but the metal point between the handle and pot does get hot and sometimes burns my hand. And the lid is secure enough but I feel it will fall off when pouring at certain angles near the end. The main issue the temperature control. It's easy to set but I need to set at least two or three degrees higher than I want because it never quite reaches the desired temperature and the hold function does alright but I'm almost always two or three degrees below what I set. And I do get the "over boil" issue sometimes where the readings do not work correctly and the kettle boils over through the lid. It's the controlled pour action that keeps me coming back to it.

Pro. It’s gorgeous! Wood handle n square base n its shape are perfect. I love it. It boils fast. Con. It drips dribbles and leaks all over pouring 90% into the cup and 10% on the counter and me. Sad for such a beauty. I will probably return it.

I love the design of the kettle, it’s a pleasure to use and it’s gorgeous. But after returning it twice for a malfunctioning heating element, I’m resigned to the fact that they either got a bad batch from the manufacturer or they are just poorly manufactured. I have to press the on and off button multiple times every time I use it, and it frequently doesn’t seem to heat up to the temperature it says it is. Some mornings my coffee is hot.. some mornings my coffee is not very hot, in other words. This was an expensive purchase for me, so I’ve been disappointed with it. I had an ugly cheapo Melitta kettle that heated water like a champ.. I wish I’d kept it.

Sleek and quiet

After my old electric kettle broke, I decided to upgrade with the Stagg EKG. I can't believe how quiet it is, even when it is at a full boil. No beeping, either, which I really appreciate. The look of it is so sleek, too, and I have gotten several compliments from guests. Very happy with my purchase!
