I went back and forth on buying this kettle for, I kid you not, over a year. I’m very happy with my decision to get it. It’s beautifully built and looks wonderful on my counter top, which is great because I can leave it out on display which saves my limited cabinet space. It’s a little slower to heat up than other electric kettles, but not so much that it’s a problem.

This is the second one I have purchased - this one for the office... it heats up very fast and you can adjust the temperature to the degree you want before it holds for an hour - and it looks great, too! Nothing at all but compliments on this kettle.

As someone who drinks both tea and pourover coffee, and needed an attractive electric kettle that I don't have to rush to turn of - the Stagg is the answer. I love it so much I'd consider getting the pink for office use! The only drawback is that the lid seems to leak a bit when I am pouring (if I'm doing pourover or tea for two) and I'm very worried about the water dripping onto the electric plate and shorting it out. So A: I'm learning I have to pour more slowly, which helps, B: I put the lid on as tight as possible C: I keep a rag nearby to mop up accidental drops down the gooseneck. Anyhow, that's the only drawback! Hopefully I'll figure it out and enjoy this for years to come.

Not aging well

Design 5 stars. However by kettle is already showing signs of aging. I haven’t even had this product a month and my lid is chipping around the edge. So sad :disappointed:
