Gorgeous kettle .. slow pour

I love my new gorgeous kettle but beware, you have to pour slowly. It was designed for pour-overs & perhaps teacup fill ups which demand a slow hand. It takes a bit of time to fill a coffee press carafe, but once you realize that, you can take your time for a deep breath (or 5). Also, don’t fill to top or it spurts & spills when it comes to a boil. Given those, I still recommend it!

Beautiful construction and design, and fantastic performance. It heats up fast and locks on the temperature flawlessly, and it pours in the same controlled manner no matter how full it is.

Beautiful Kettle, But Needs More Quality Control

I ordered this kettle for my husband. Upon arriving there was a loose screw somewhere inside the body of the kettle. I was able to return it without issues but when we received the new kettle, the handle was loose. We tightened the handle and have not had other issues since, but when you purchase a new item you expect it to arrive without flaws.

This product is amazing. Not only is it beautifully designed, and lovely to look at on the counter, but works perfectly. It heats up fast, and stays exact temperature. Love it!

And this helps us achieve that. It's both a blessing and a curse, as we've already become fully dependent on this kettle's speed and accuracy. I resisted trying to buy a new kettle for so long (we previously had a manual glass one), and now I will never hear the end of it from my husband.

2 Stars - Not exactly what I expected

Prior to purchasing the Stagg EKG Electric Kettle I had read countless raving reviews and had very high expectations for the product, however, it is not exactly what I was expecting. In comparison to the electric kettle I owned prior, it takes a very long time to heat up water. The kettle is functioning, I just do not think it is worth the price point.
I do love the look of this kettle. The matte black color is very stylish and it looks great on my countertop.
