Why doesn't it beep when done?

Decent kettle. My Ode Fellow grinder beeps when it is done, but the kettle which takes 3-4x longer doesn't. I can tell when the grinder is done grinding, but the kettle is silent...
I wish it was about 4 oz bigger capacity.

Sharp look and works beautifully. The quick heat and long hold time make life so much easier. It's even small enough to comfortably sit on the counter while being out of the way.

Very impressed with this tea kettle. It’s design is stylish and elegant, the tea pours so smoothly from the long spout, and it heats up water so quickly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something that works and looks great on the counter all day long.

This is a great and easy to operate device. And NO heat in the kitchen from gas/electric sources is my favorite reason for using it. I first saw it being demonstrated at a downtown Boston coffee shop. I was seriously impressed. So when my tax return came in, I ordered my Fellows. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I brew mainly espresso with Chemex pour overs. This is my first coffee dedicated kettle and it’s great for both. I love the fact I am able to dial in to the exact degree (F or C) for the different roast level of coffee I’m brewing at the time. Wonderful aesthetic, simple design, & 900 mL is enough volume for my needs.
Only negative thing is the power button sometimes, but not always, requires 2-4 presses to turn on or off - this may be the switch/contact not being properly installed to the knob or board. This feels like a longer term issue but I hope it doesn’t shorten the life of the switch, knob, or board.
