We LOVE our new kettle! We’ve been using it every day (multiple times a day) for about a month now, and have ZERO complaints. It’s so easy to use, looks sooo good, and makes the coffee making time that much better :u1F90C: Thanks Fellow!!

Beautiful, heavy but a small flaw in handle should be corrected

The Stagg is a beauty so the "form and function" attribute is awesome. It has some features that I find useful, like the countdown timer and temperature hold but there are some design issues that should be addressed.
1. There is a metal wrap between the handle and the kettle that conducts heat and you can hurt yourself if you touch it. I had to wrap mine in photographer's tape to continue to use it and it worked great.
2. The Max indicator on the inside is by the handle, not the spout. So when you go to fill it with water, you can't see it...not a major flaw but a thoughtless one.
3. My hot plate was so temperamental I had to send it back for a new one that was only slightly less temperamental. Sometimes a double-tap is required, sometimes unplug and plug it back in. Customer service was responsive, a plus.

The Stagg EKG Electric Kettle is great! The performance is outstanding and I love that you can set the temperature (and hold the temp)! Nice, contemporary design. Only consideration is that it pours slowly.

This is my third kettle, as I have had issues with both abnormal noises and cracking in the wooden knob. This third one is also quite loud when heating up.

Got the matte black with walnut handle and altho pricey, I thought I’d want to upgrade my tea experience as it’s important to me. It’s fun to see what at temps I’m steeping the leaves and to gradually increase. I mainly practice gongfu cha with the kettle, as I find the slower pour to be more exact. For other herbal remedies or when I need lots of hot water then I’ll use my other kettle with a larger spout. Recommend the purchase if you have the budget.

This is a great replacement for our “simple” electric kettle. We drink pour overs or French press on the weekend so the hold feature is perfect!! We know the water will stay at temperature for an hour without the need to heat back up. I love the sleek design and it fits well in my very modern kitchen.
