Looks great, heats water quickly, nicely balanced for ease of pouring. The gooseneck makes pouring more precise and the bevel on the end allows the flow of water be easily controlled. We love it. This is our second purchase, the first was for our son who is a coffee aficionado. When our kettle burned up I knew right away what I wanted to get to replace it. I am so glad I did.

I love how quickly this kettle works and it's so pretty! Perfect for pour-over but ya'll knew that. My only critique is the cord, which is very thick and an awkward length if you are keeping it on a countertop next to an outlet. Some way to store excess cord in the base, etc. would be a great step towards better cable control!

My inexpensive gooseneck kettle took a tumble from the counter and broke. It served me well for six years, but it's time ended. The logical replacement? There's only one: the Stagg EKG. Yes, it's expensive. It's also beautiful, elegantly designed, and provides precise temperature control that you won't find with other kettles. Pourover coffee with the Stagg EKG is smooth and controlled, allowing for a perfect pour every time. The embedded timer is a nice feature, and I find myself using it often. Simply the best; better than all the rest.

I have had two of these kettles now (one replaced under warranty) and both lasted less than one year. In less than one year both kettles stopped being able to hold their desired temperature. They reach the temp and immediately start cooling down. Will opt for the cheaper, less attractive but functional kettle in the future.

a really nice kettle. temperature settings and the pour technique are easy to get the hang of, and the built in timer function is quite a nice upgrade compared to other kettles. it looks awesome on my counter. My only nitpick is that you can accidentally start heating the kettle when it's empty, but didn't think it was enough to knock off a star.
