Looks great, performs great

Looks great, heats quickly, and has been a great compliment to my morning routine. The one thing I didn't expect to love so much was the hold timer. I often get distracted making my coffee in the morning (kids, etc) so the water holding temp until I have a few minutes to make my coffee has become essential!

This is such a wonderful product. It's quick, accurate and easy to use. I sprung for the wooden handle and it is a nice accent to a quality product. I would like the option to purchase a standard style pot in addition to the gooseneck version.

I put buying this kettle off for over a year based on mixed reviews. The things that put me off were around 1) heat/potential burn to the end user through use and 2) longevity of the product.
I opted for the wooden handle, and yeah if you don’t apply common sense, you can hurt yourself. To me, it’s a pass here. It’s not overly dangerous. The handle isn’t an ergonomic dream. But it’s fine.
Longevity? There hasn’t been a hiccup yet. I really enjoy this thing. Glad I bought it.

After all the good reviews, I found I didn't like the kettle. The control button was fluky, sometimes working, sometimes not. I didn't like the balance of the pot, it seemed bottom heavy to me. The fill line is on the wrong side of the pot, you must lean way over to see it while filling if holding the pot by the handle. It also would have been good to have a minimum fill line too instead of just eyeballing it. Overall I was quite disappointed in this kettle.
