Everytime I open or put on the kettle lid, the metal rubbing noise between the lid and the kettle is very discomforting. Besides,when I pour the water out, it's impossilbe to increase the water output no matter how much you tilt the kettle, sometimes the water comes out of the lid if I tilt the kettle too much to increase water flow.

Way better kettle than the one I returned. It is sleek, quiet, smooth, and beautiful. The older version started to jump when boiling and that sucker was noisy (water splattering out and the hopping noise made me scare it might hop off my kitchen counter.
The knob is smooth and quiet. Water boils whisper quiet. The glowing display is easy to look at. Overall, I give it a super thumbs up!
