Well thought out, well designed and well made

My Capture (clip only) and P.O.V. Kit were delivered today so I've been out to test how they work on a backpack using my GoPro Hero 4 Session and Hero 5 Black and the results are in. This setup works really well with a GoPro and turns a backpack into a stable mount for the camera. It's beautifully designed and manufactured and I wasn't aware at any time of feeling the clip pressing into my chest as I have been with alternative mounts that rely on Velcro to hold everything in place.
Congratulations on coming up with such a great solution to mounting a GoPro on a backpack!

Capture-clip- GO pro POV

I recently purchase the Clip and go Pro POV and I could not be more than happy with the product. It is a quality product and worth every Dollar spent. I am excited to use it for my next adventure up in Nepal and the POV kit for Scuba Diving @ Pacific North West. I assembled the product and it looks so cool. The set up is great and helps a lot in the long trek keeping it hands free yet easy and quick to snap the camera out to take capture the moments. very nice product!!!

Great look and build quality

I use this clip (and the bino kit) for my binoculars. The clip is incredibly easy to use and "install," and the choice between hand and hex drive bolts. I move my clip around a lot, so the hand bolts are preferable to me. But I could see myself wanted the hex drives after I find the perfect spot for the clip.

It Just Plain Works & Great Customer Service

I've been using the capture clip for years with multiple different cameras. First my old Nikon D90, then the lighter Olympus EM-5, and now with the Sony A7iii. When I'm hiking I like to have my hands free, but also have my camera at the ready. The Capture Clip is the perfect solution. It has been easy to adjust the clip retention and I never had a problem with the clip accidently releasing the camera. When I lost a screw on the trail (I neglected to adequately tighten it) peak sent me a new set of screws no questions asked and a discount toward another order. I expect to be using the Capture Clip well into the future. My legs will probably give out before the clip does. And I know that I'll be getting other Peak Designs products in the future. I've got my eye on the travel tripod. I just need to drop a note to Santa.

Great upgrade!

I recently upgraded from the v2 Capture to the v3 Capture and after using it on a few hikes, I can say it is worth it! I was a little worried that the new Capture wouldn't fit my backpack straps, because they're pretty wide, but I was able to get it on with little effort by slightly squeezing my straps and using the longer Allen key screws. The new Capture is much lighter than my previous one, so my backpack strap doesn't sag as much as it previously did when the camera was off the clip. The flatter profile of the plate is also nice, which makes it easier for me to balance my camera when I put it on a table now. Overall, I am happy with my purchase!

An innovative solution

I honestly did not realize what a pain it was to pull out and put away my camera (even from a sling bag) until I got the Capture.
Throughout my long, varied career as a photographer I always struggled with managing my camera via the neck strap (old and busted!). Then I moved to a sling bag. The Capture is the next evolutionary step in camera gear management. Period.
It is easy to use and 100% secures whatever is attached to it.

I hesitated between this strap and a lire traditional one but this is so practical, I don't remember how I was doing it before. I can easily keep the camera in hand without getting tired and take pictures fast by releasing it quickly. It's well made and feels very qualitative.
