Great Idea, Blocks Battery Access

So I was so excited about using this product for easy access to my camera, but quickly realized that in order to change my battery pack, I have to remove the attachment that screws into the camera base (of course I didn't have the hex key handy). Overall good idea, but not great if you have a camera with battery access on the bottom of the camera!

The update is very nice on the looks and feel. But from v2 pro to this, there is a lack of ability to install to a tripod.

Nice for smaller cameras/lenses

Purchased the Capture, only, as I already have a regular Clip and a Micro Clip. It appears to be well made, and the finish is nice. Fit the backpack strap acceptably well. Have not used it ‘out in the wild', but seems good so far.

Great product. I bought just the clip only because my Clutch came with the base plate. I have been using it with my Nikon D3400 and 18-105mm lens on my belt and back pack straps, depending on the hike I am going on, and have had 0 issues with it so far. I notice the weight is there, but I have no concerns that it will come out of the clip, and that is without using the lock on the release button.

Just keeps getting better

I've been using a Capture since V1. Back then I had to modify the plate and the clip itself was a bit wide. V2 was great and I used it until it kind of wore out, but Peak Design's warranty covered it!! The V3 is perfect so far. Sleek and smooth. I liked it so much that I bought another to have on another bag at all times.

Great Product!

I purchased the clip only since I had a clutch already. I carried my D850 and a 16-35 f/4 on a 4 night backpacking trip in Grand Teton with my capture. It was comfortable and reliable throughout the trip. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent for Hiking

Took this on a walk up a snowy mountain track, took so many more shots than I would if I'd had to keep going in to my bag. Well worth it if you hike with a backpack.

Love my Capture!

I'm an avid photographer and fly fisherman, so when I discovered the the Capture, I was in heaven. I keep my camera hanging on my wader suspenders so it there is no hassle shooting shots of fish and releasing them quickly, besides always having it handy to shoot the world as it flows past me while I'm fishing. Thanks, Peak Design !
