nice design

this works really well and I like it for my second camera which is lighter than my main DSLR. it doesn't work too well for heavy or larger cameras. fair enough though. saw someone out and about with their camera with one of these attached to their rucksack just the other day and felt like I was part of the peak design club :-)

Ultimate camera holder.

I purchase this product because I purchase a new DSLR and wanted a way to used more often. I was tired of taking the camera out of the bag every time I need to use it, so I got this new holder and it was impressive. At first I thought it was not going to work because it was small and light weight, but when I started using it, I realized this is great tool it's well built and strong for the camera. Sometimes you pay for what you get and this is true for this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Game Changer

Finally purchased a capture clip to try after going back and forth, absolute game changer for my trip to Morocco. Being able to secure your camera safely to free up your hands to look at phone/check map/clean-change lenses/eat is a huge help, especially in bustling, hustling cities like in Morocco, India, etc… Once it is locked in your camera is virtually unstealable unless someone takes your entire bag. Never had a second worry about my camera falling from the bracket or being unsteady. Also it sits secure on your chest without bouncing around even when hiking. Be aware that the metal capture clip is hard metal so when the camera is not attached the backpack strap can become a swinging device near glass or fragile items and the metal clip can break cups/window/fragiles if it hits hard enough.

The material is very high quality and the design is perfectly refined. The lock mechanism is great for security and it never accidentally releases. Would buy again. And a third time.

Most Important Piece of Ancillary Kit

The ability to externally carry--using another PD piece of kit, the Lens Kit--gives me the flexibility in the moment to carry 3 lenses externally; 1 mounted and 2 via the Kit & Capture. This carry capability has ensured I don't miss the shot because I had to shed my pack and retrieve a lens for within it.

A well designed camera clip!

I was looking for an alternative to the traditional camera strap. It can be irritating on the neck after a few hours. The Peak Design clip seemed like a good alternative way to keep my camera close and ready. It is well designed and built and it gives me confidence that it won't come loose at an inopportune time. Depending on where you attach it and what lens you have installed it my be a bit uncomfortable while walking. I find it works best on my belt when used with the Pro Pad.
