Great way to carry a camera

I had the previous version of the capture clip but recently got a new camera and lens that wouldn't really fit on it. The new slimmer version works perfectly, and provides the same great way of carrying a camera on my backpack strap while I'm out hiking. Super convenient, don't have to worry about a strap getting caught up on my water or backpack.

Best piece of kit for a traveler

Bought the clip to go with my Ellie of L bracket. Did a rim to rim at the Grand Canyon with my Nikon z5 on my should strap the whole time and fit many great pictures due to its accessibility that I otherwise would've missed. Love the capture clip!

Versatile, secure quick clip and release system that keeps my gear at the ready. It is also compatible with by current ball head, and quick release, arco based, Black Rapid carry straps. You can add new capture clips to any location and securely carry your gear on your belt, backpack, day bags... The possibilities are limited on;y by my imagination.

Well made. Great feedback when snapping into place. Has a slight metal sound as your walking around, nothing that I didn’t get used to. I would like concise documentation around the peak design ecosystem. I watched videos the videos lead one to think everything is so magical, and the articles throughout the website contradicts itself and is too vast. But once the items arrived it seems that I need to buy even more into the peak design ecosystem (adapter plates, more standard/dual plates, pro pad)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am actually going to reorder the clip. I watched your videos and it answered some questions and showed me how to install the clip for better access. However, the small bags probably would not hold a camera with a longer lens.

I was going on a trip and after reading and watching reviews, I decided to purchase the clip (I have many other PD products, did not need plates or anything else). The shipment was delayed and I was worried it was not going to make it in time for my trip. Anyway, it came in the day prior to my departure.
Anyway, this is an amazing product. I went on long hikes and had my camera readily accessible all the time, while still having both hands free.
I captured so many more images, because instead of having to take off my backpack to take the camera out … my camera was ready at all times.
I would recommend this product to any photographer, regardless of their experience level.

This is my second Capture Clip. I liked my first one so much that I decided to leave it on my backpack and get a second one to use on my Everyday Messenger Bag or Everyday Sling bag. The Capture Clip is very sturdy and secure. It's great to have the camera on the Capture Clip and accessible for the next shot.
