I couldn't believe the difference in our carpet's appearance after my first use of this machine. I ordered it on the basis of the many positive reviews...and definitely, have not been disappointed.

The sucking power is amazing, the glide is as smooth as can be, the cord is retractable, and it was easy to put together. I couldn't believe how dirty my floors actually were after my first vacuum.

We put down a brand new wall to wall carpet in living room, halls, and dining room. My previous cleaner did not have a height adj, making it nearly impossible to push/pull. We also have a Roomba which I used that morning. Then I got my Bissell, assembled it and turned it on. I just did the dining room, new carpet 1 week old, just used the Roomba and the CleanView canister filled about 25% with dog hair (we have 2 rescue dogs). I did the rest of the 1st floor and filled the CleanView canister, filled it, after I ran the Roomba couple hours earlier.

Wonderful powerful vacuum

I have two dogs, one with black fur and one with faun fur so no matter what color furniture or rug, you can see one color fur or the other. Both little furballs shed more than I would like. This vacuum picked up everything! I got the work done in a fraction of the time because I've been using a shop vac for years. Powerful, but you can't stand and vacuum when you have a shop vac, no matter what kind of attachment. The Bissell picked up more than the shop vac and it was so easy to use that I will happily vacuum multiple times a week! I was impressed with the rewind cord. To be honest, I figured it was just another thing that could break so I wasn't too excited about the feature, but I was impressed with how much cord fit in that tiny little compartment and the ease of the rewind feature is very nice. I almost went with the unit that didn't have the swivel feature and I am immeasurably glad I sprung for this one. I actually got it because I liked the color better than the other two I was considering, but the swivel was a bonus. Now that I have it, and have used it, i would not have been happy without the swivel.

I love the attachment to pick up my Cyrus's short hair off the couch and his little dog bed. I did alot of reading up on different cleaners before choosing this 1. And i love the fact a portion of the purchase goes to a rescue dog. Rescue dogs are all i have ever had. That was another reason i wanted this model.
