Great Vacuum but needs extension wand.

It's lightweight but yet sucks up so much stuff it'll both gross you out and let you know you're getting your carpets pretty darn clean. My two big recommendations to Bissel and a head's up to everyone else, is that when you empty the canister, it's really hard to avoid getting of all the dust, hair and all the other grossness all over your hands. (You also have to empty the canister often.) The next one is that if you're using the hose and single wand attachment to clean the floor area & baseboards, you will kill your lower back because you have to bend over, hunker down and walk in that position. I'm only 5' 4" and it is literally a pain in the back to do the floors that way. I end up sweeping with a broom and then just vacuuming up the piles of stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice sweeper in all ways but one. The "swivel" handle makes for some awkward pushing, pulling and guiding the sweeper. I wish it would lock in place. My wrist occasionally tires, even hurts from controlling the device's movements. My work is more difficult as it swivels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really picks up the dog hair. Bummed that it doesn't have a light to see where you are vacuuming. Belt broke after 6 months. Dog hair was packed under the belt. Not sure why but seems like a major flaw for a pet hair vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For comparison, I vacuumed my carpet with my old vacuum. Then, I vacuumed the same area with my CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Vacuum Cleaner. I was amazed at how much pet hair was in the tank of my new vacuum! The same thing happened when I vacuumed my dog's bed. The rewind feature seemed extraneous, but I love it. It reduces the trip hazard with the cord.
