Brush doesn't work well even on highest setting

Our carpet is not extremely shaggy or extremely plush yet on the highest roller setting the brush still stops making the vacuum hard to move. The belt also broke within a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My dog sheds a lot and I have to vacuum often which I do not like to do. But with this product, I actually enjoy vacuum cleaning now. (I didn't think I'd ever say that!) I've owned several different brands of vacuum cleaners but this is my favorite. The only drawback - and this is a small one - is that one of the attachments doesn't fit well enough. It keeps falling off. I would definitely recommend this vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have a dog and cat and even though we have a Shark it didn't seem it was getting done what my wife wanted, I could see her frustration. so i saw the Bissell on line and purchased the 2256 and it was the smartest thing I've done in awhile according to my wife. my wife showed me the canister and wow i couldn't believe what was in it, the Bissell pulled so much Pet hair and dandruff up it was amazing. I have already recommended the Swivel Rewind Pet vacuum to my friends, and we are so much satisfied with bissell products, and will defiantly buy again.
