[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really not a patient person. This was easily assembled in under 10 minutes - Then I plugged it in and attached the Turbo Eraser Pet attachment and used it on the couch that my cat sleeps on 23 hours a day- All I have to say is it looks like a new couch- I was even using throw blankets to try and keep it a little less hairy -I am really really impressed. I also have 3 dogs one of which is a Chow mix that is some constant state of "molting" and I can't wait to see what else I can "dehair" I bought the vacuum partly because of the wonderful work Bissell does with shelter animals and recently became aware of Cathy Bissells involvement with helping a rural shelter in Louisiana - So it's a win/win for me - I get to support a company that makes a great product and they in turn help many animal shelters, I wish more Corporations were as socially aware of those in need through no fault of their own.

WORST VACCUM IN HISTORY

If you want to push and struggle with a huge bulky enormous vaccum, get this vaccumm. If you want something that picks up nothing and you just want something very heavy to push around to get muscles, get this vaccum! If you love throwing your hard earned money away , get this vaccum. I purchased this vaccum online, when it arrived the box was so enermous and heavy that I struggled to get it inside my house. I am a single mom with no pets. This vaccumm makes a lot of noise and you think it has suction. But it has none. Out of the box this vaccum was loud and didn't clean anything. This is the worst vaccum and so enermous and bulky and heavy that returning it is physically painful. I have a tiny apartment and this vaccum can't keep it clean! I used to be able to vaccumm every day with my shark vaccum until it died. I was looking to try another brand since I was on a budget. This bissell was the worst investment I have ever made. I hurts that I threw money on this horrible noisy and ineffective thing. Oh as for the accessories they dont even work with the vaccum no suction! I guess the brushes and accessories are only there for props or decorations. Now i am looking to save enough money to buy a real vaccum. Bissell you should t even make vaccums! If you have pets don't even bother because this vaccumm doesn't pick up anything, so forget pet hair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
