a possible design flaw

The belt broke on my vacuum cleaner and after removing the plate on the bottom I noticed that the channel the belt sits in was packed full of dog hair . I am careful about cleaning my vacuum regularly , checking filters etc. The belt is not something I would ever suspect of being a place where dog hair could jam up and cause it to break. I'm curious as to whether this has happened to anyone else. I have three Shelties and I love this vacuum cleaner for its ability to pick up lots of hair but I wonder if there is a way to prevent this happening again without having to take it apart every few weeks to check that the belt channel is clear.

Honestly, I was a bit hopeful, but cautious as we have 10 kitties in the home (many recuses) and with the fur, litter, and dander I have not been able to find anything that could work on my wall-to-wall carpeting; but this vacuum sucked up so much dirt and fur I thought I found a new cat! I did not get paid for this review, and the only reason I bought from the site was to get the $10 towards helping animals, but I have to say it is the best purchase I have made in years. I bought it outright, NOT part of any promotion and I would buy it again in a minute. This vacuum is perfect for anyone who wants a vacuum who sucks like a champ!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't even believe how amazing this vacuum is!! It glides across the floor almost as if its floating. When pushed along the was it sucks the corners well! Such a strong suction!! I had never seen this vacuum before I received it but I would now search it out when I look for a new vacuum and I will recommend this to anyone!! The swivel head is amazing and the retractable power cord is amazing as well!! This vacuum works better than I ever could have imagined!!
