Just used my new vac. Total improvement over others past 10 years. Have bare and carpet floors and worked great on low setting. This was easy to put together in about 5 minutes from getting out of box to using. Plus side for me as a single female was the handles in the box for carry up three flights of stairs with ease. Also ease of ordering filters etc on Bissell online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very underwhelmed with the suction and the amount of hair/soil it didn't pick up. The suction was subpar and I returned it after two uses. The two things I did like about it were the stair attachment and the retracting cord.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this vacuum specifically because it was designed for household that have pets. It does have strong suction, but it's not the best for hardwood floors. If your pet has fine hairs, it doesn't do a great job at vacuuming them up even in its floor setting. It does have strong suction, so the accessories are good to use, but there are better vacuum out there for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback, Brad. For hard floors we recommend a machine with a brush on/off switch like the Pet Hair Eraser models.
