Very Satisfied with the Bissell Clean View Performance

I was skeptical because it was such a low price, but extremely satisfied with its performance. It is light weight, easy to maneuver, and I love the cord rewind feature. The only negative that I have is the brush attachment should be bristles and not plastic paddles. I definitely recommend this product, much better than the Shark vacuum I replaced with this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had it for a short time. It was simple to use and easy to switch from floor to upholstery. It was very easy to empty. The retractable cord worked smoothly. It really picked up pet hair from carpet, tile and wood floors well. Also picked up the pet hair from upholstery well. There was not anything that seemed inconvenient to me. I had read a few reviews that mentioned pet hair getting tangled up in the drive belt as being an issue. After vacuuming I checked mine and there was no hair in the belt at all. So far I am really happy with it. Hopefully it lasts for years to come.

Disappointing Accesories

We use this on all of our floor surfaces. We have hard wood flooring in every room and area rugs in some rooms. This vacuum is Great! However, I am very disappointed that there are no extension poles to allow me to clean hard to reach areas. I've never had a vacuum that didn't come with extension poles. I need extension poles to use my accessories to clean those hard to reach areas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Bissell Cleanview is amazing! Coming from an owner of 3 dogs! The fur is never ending! I love the difference that it has made in the way that my home smells! My area rugs and carpets are beautiful too! It is easy to maneuver with the swivel action. When cleaning hard surfaces the dirt doesn't scatter like other vacuums. And I really appreciate the auto cord rewind feature. The only problem that I have encountered is that I found two places on the cord where it had been nicked almost down to the wire. My husband wrapped it with electrical tape and told me to rewind slowly.

I've used this on both hardwood floors and carpeting and it works great on both! The best part is the retractable cord so I don't have to worry about winding it back up. I've used the attachments to clean the couch and the stairs and it was a breeze! The vaccum is lightweight so it's no problem getting it up and down the stairs to different areas of my home. The design of the vaccum in general is appealing and makes it easy to turn in different directions. I've emptied it several times and it is extremely easy to take the canister out to dump it. This is a wonderful vacuum to keep my home clean without hassle.
