Just got this vacuum and wish I had checked it out in store first. It is awkward to carry between rooms or use on stairs. The hose is too short so when you use the on board tools the vacuum gets pulled over. The power bar at the bottom runs all of the time so figure it will fall quickly or damage the rug if left still too long. Also there isn't a proper place for the crevice tool as it does not fit inside the extension wand like indicated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've owned Hoover for many years... this vacuum is lightweight, easy to assemble/disassemble, easy to clean, and the thing I love the most is that I don't need stool box with screwdrivers to open it up. It was made with simplicity and practicality in mind.

I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone that owns pets it does not own up to what they claim! The turbo eraser is a joke and does not work! While using the wind and the hose is out of its holder the vacuum spews out hair and dirt causing twice as much work! It also attracts hair to the vacuum itself
